Supporting The Art Community in Tengenenge, Zimbabwe
Tengenenge runs a small guesthouse, with three mud huts with grass roof, offering space for 10 people. The equipment of the round huts is simple with beds, provided with sheets, blankets and mosquito-nets and a table. There is a common bathroom for guests. Within the guesthouse there is an African kitchen, a small hut with a fireplace. There you can either cook your own food, or have somebody cooking for you. It is a rudimentary accommodation but clean and a nice possibility to discover rural Africa. Certainly a place to relax in a peaceful and calm environment, far away of the buzzing of towns.
At the guesthouse, Stella Gutura takes care of the guests. She cleans the guesthouse, cooks for the guests and is always happy to show the guests her village or teach them some Shona if they wish.
